What is therapeutic adventure programming?
Therapeutic Adventure is the application of adventure-based experiential education principles with the intention of participants learning therapeutic skills and enhancement of mental health.
Tewa Roots Society’s Therapeutic Adventure Facilitators have many years of experience in providing fun, engaging, and exciting experiences for therapeutic adventure group members.
Offerings may include dozens of activities and games which increase mindfulness, problem-solving ability, neuroregulation, coping mechanisms, and conflict resolution/relationship skills. These activities may also include rafting, kayaking, hiking, rock climbing, paintball, snowshoeing, camping, and more.
